KEG & Abster do... FIREHOUSE in PB (in SD) for a charity SHOPPING event!

KEG & Abster Sandy Candy Swim!

Candy & Keg at the last Sandy Candy event (rooftop pool party/fashion show) w/ Discover SD

Abster, Candy & Keg reppin Sandy Candy Bikinis on 4th of July in Newport!

KEG & Abster do… way too many things in this blazing LA heat!!

HIKING.
Went hiking with Abster & Candy (my sis) in Malibu…TWICE!  Beautiful trail by the water, saw a cute little snake too.  And Wes and Gia from the Bachelor Pad running across PCH.

FOOTBALL... & SHOTS.
& As if I wasn’t already sweating bullets during that close game BAMA played against Arkansas on Saturday, the extreme LA heat wave made things even worse!  Let’s just say I was more than glistening in my baby-tee Bama jersey at Goal with Abster & Candy.  But at least my boys pulled off the win (ROLL TIDE), and I had the best grilled cheese & tomato soup in the world (…probably because I requested a hamburger patty be placed smack dab in the middle of that cheesy goodness… I could never be a vegetarian).  Ohio State (Abster’s #1) kicked the crap outta E. Michigan too.  Patron shots to celebrate.

GLOW.
Santa Monica Pier-- GLOW

"GLOW ART"

...dude couldn't hang.

Stopped by Glow in Santa Monica that night… wearing long sleeves, presuming it would be chilly on the sand by 11:00 pm. WRONG!  The “light art” was cool, but weirded us out a little bit.  They even had Cirque du Soleil performers on  the swingsets.  Ran into Ty Pennington from Extreme Makeover Home Edition… and got lots of "discounted shots" because we were wearing glowsticks on our heads.

BIGGEST LOSER RESORT OPENING.
Finished off the weekend carrying 60 lb suitcases through the gravel in 4 inch heels... & did I mention temps hit a record-breaking 115 in LA while I was guiding a hike on Monday? ...Gotta love my job.

KEG & Abster do D.C.

What was suppose to be a boring trip to DC, turned out to be quite the surprise.. The KEG surprise that is. Takes a true friend to use her frequent flyers on a 36 hour trip to the east coast. THANKS KEGO.. made my weekend WAY more fun. Segways, Khaki's, and a dude in wedged moccasin's... this was one trip that will go down in the books. OH-bama. What a weekend.

Favorites of the weekend... Forever 21 Opening, Capital Segway Tours, Super Shuttle, Papa Razzi's, Baked and Wired, and the waterfront.

meow.

KEG listens to Trey Songz while cookin' up some grub!

You're allowed to lick the cooking spoon when you're making the food for yourself (& your roomie who loves you)

Listening to Trey Songz new album, “Passion, Pain & Pleasure” (Deluxe version, of course), and the sexy R&B songs got me in that “wifey type” mood.

So I cooked up some BOMB homemade spicy alfredo sauce, baked chicken, broccoli and noodles while listening to “Mr. Steal Your Girl’s” new jams.  ‘Can’t Be Friends’ is my fav track I think… I love the violins in the background.  All of the songs are amazing, but not just the “same old same old” R&B… Trey did a good job putting a little twist on all his tracks.  I even like the interlude (surprise, I know, but) it sounds like a sick musical piece mixed with an R&B voice.  And of course, the HOTT chicks in the bonus ‘Bottoms Up’ music video (featuring Nicki Minaj) made me want to do sit-ups and lunges in between stirs… (as they say on Twitter...) #smh.

So… as long as I’m hiking for 3 hours every morning and playing Trey Songz on the ipod, I’ll be hungry/dedicated enough to cook up a storm every night…. You’re welcome Abster;)

Keg and Abster do Winstons (with the 3rd Roomie)

We have found our default hang out in LA. WINSTONS. Great music, a fun crowd, and VIP acess to the front of the line helped. Double vodka soda's seemed to be the downfall, but not a night we would ever take back. LA nightlife - round 1 - SUCCESS.

Keg and Abster do FNO

Since we couldn't fly to NYC for FNO we opted in for the next best thing... The Beverly Center Fashion Show (not to mention - seated behind Stephanie Pratt and Perez Hilton). Who was our fav? Forever 21 of course, and it helped seeing Taylor Swift (or her intense look-alike) shopping around.
